Sigh...

Gosh. A few more curves there than usually seen on the catwalks, aye, Kevin?

My first EL&P album and still my favourite. Tank was probably the first drum solo I saw performed live.

Of Tull's albums I think this is in my top three, the others being Stand Up and Aqualung.  This CD has benefited (pun intended) from Steve Wilson's remastering.  And a very fine job he did too.

Hi Gian

I am a JH fan and this is a very good Hiatt disc.  A little quieter, maybe more like Crossing Muddy Waters than some of his more recent stuff.  I listen MP3/OggV so no comments on sound quality from me.

On vinyl:

Britten: variations on a Theme of Frank Bridge

RVW: Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis

HVK and the Philharmonia  1954 Mono HMV Concert Classics

Absolutely stunning. Just shows what a good performance and a good sound engineer can do and a perfect example of why stereo can be superfluous!

Also, today, Kate Bush 50 Words for Snow. We've had about 20 types of snow and gales here in the Derbyshire outpost of Valhalla!
