Nice quiet jazz music, a worthy last statement of a great musician...

I just fancied a bit of Messaien. So here he is, as interpreted by Nagano and the BPO:

Downloaded this in the hopes of winning  a Mu-so, but found that this album is a winner.  Great music and concepts.

I saw them live at Cropredy quite a few years ago and they were brilliant. They had just acquired a new guitarist and his guitar sound was stunning. I bought this album there and then on the strength of that performance but for me it just never lived up

Physical Graffiti - Now available on Qobuz lossless FLAC stream. The remaster is so much better than the horribly thin and flat cd rip on my NAS.

Interesting. I am demoing a set of 20 23s at the moment to try with my superuniti. I am not that familiar with this album, I kind of stopped at iv first time round but to me this sounded very thin and tinny, really highlighted the one thing I am finding difficult with the 23s at the moment. Love the detail and smooth vocals but certain rockier music sounds quite harsh compared to what I am used to. I like so much about these speakers but do like my rock too. Listening to Supertramp 24bit Crime of the Centuary noe and it is just stunning through the 23s. Why can't I find the perfect speaker for me someone must make it. Pretty much the 23 with a bit more warmth

Could be the SU / PMC.23 / Room just doesn't gel. I suspect it's not the 'speaker alone.

Mine sound fast, full, flat and detailed.

Graeme has given me an idea. So I am playing the new emaster of PG. Possibly The Greatest Rock Album. Ever.

Agreed Bert, I think it's his best album yet.

Indeed, I am pretty sure it is not the speaker judging by the almost universal praise it gets.
