Hand.Cannot.Erase, Steven Wilson. 24/96 rip from DVD. I've been playing this lots since yesterday & I reckon it's the best solo album he's done to date :
JD McPherson - Let The Good Times Roll (2014)
A good old rock 'n roll, rhythm and blues and rockabilly mix, JD has a great voice.

Arrived today. 1st and I think only press of this fairly rare LP. Luckily it's in good nick and I'm enjoying it.

Not having a pop at you Steve, but this to me epitomises the madness of the cult of the picture. It looks interesting, you listen to some interesting stuff, so...I'm interested.
But but what the heck is it? Who's it by and what sort of music.
A few words say a lot more than an unaccompanied picture of a sleeve.
Sorry Gary.
It's Ride A Hustler's Dream by Velvet Opera. Released 1969 CBS.
The music is quite mixed from blues, raga and a little country. I'm on side two ATM and it's good.

I've not heard it Tony but a mutual friend say's he felt like slitting his wrists after hearing it. I believe the content is a bit dark.

Cheers Steve, I've got the first one, didn't realise there was a second. I'll check it out!
The first is now a valuable record selling over £100. I don't have that one as yet.
Good luck in your search.

Glad you like it Tony. I picked up the CD from 'The Shed', then went back for the vinyl the next day. The emotional impact comes through - being based in part, on a non-fictional tragic life and death.

The Kenny Burrell Midnight Blue and Somethin' Else are reasonably good. Maiden Voyage is so so being a little more flat in presentation. I looking forward to hearing the MM LP when it arrives
Steve,
Well then, MM33 will blow it away.
Almost always imports use a distant copy of original master. I was told that the record companies never let the original leave the country.
Just playing side one. You're right.
Moon Duo - Live on KEXP Seattle
Four songs from Shadow Of The Sun. It's another belter if you like the Suicide/Silver Apples vibe.
Morning Phase - Beck. Ripped to FLAC from my CD. Wonderful on my new (to me) Unitilite. Listen to 'Morning' if you're curious, and wonder what the **ll Kanye West was on about!

The Flock ~ Best of The Flock
I managed to find a 'best of' on Spotify to see how much I remember of them or not...
"The Flock were the band that Led Zeppelin manager Peter Grant pulled the plug on at the 1970 Bath Festival because they were playing for too long and Grant wanted to get Zeppelin on as the sun went down."
Privateering by Mark Knopfler, 24/96 as his new one Tracker is due next week or so.
A couple of CD AIFF rips, time to make a bit of a noise:-
Local (ish) lads Royal Blood, and now something similar but older:-
RUSH - Caress of Steel.
It will only be rips or vinyl now, as my CDSII/XPS went to a new home yesterday. Small tear.
