Eyevory - The True Bequest

Eyevory - The True Bequest. FLAC download from Bandcamp. I went on a Bandcamp shopping spree this morning. This is the first of my six new purchases. Some inspired by posts here (thank you), and some I have had my eye on for a while.

Anyway Eyevory is folky, rocky, gothy, ... I suppose "Gothic Prog" with "Influences" and a couple of female vocalists. Have a listen if this sounds like your kind of thing, I like it.

Dave Kerzner ~ New Word (December 2014)

I finally succumbed and downloaded this from Bandcamp the other day. Good old style prog' with many influences apparent.

"New World" is the debut solo album from former Sound of Contact keyboardist/songwriter/producer Dave Kerzner. It's a Progressive Rock "concept album" that's set in the future and follows the main character on a journey from being stranded in the desert to finding his way back to the biodomed city where he originally came from.

Pendragon ~ Pure [2008]

This was Pendragon well back on form after a couple of albums that did not quite hit the spot. A much under appreciated prog' rock band IMO that has been around for almost forty years now.

Steve Rothery - The Ghosts of Pripyat

Steve Rothery - The Ghosts of Pripyat. Another download from Bandcamp. Very, very good. I spotted this ages ago and it's been on my wishlist ever since but for some reason never bought it until I saw it on the forums.

Having enjoyed a few plays of my recently purchased The Cry Of Love, I thought I'd spin this classic Hendrix album. Lovely stuff, especially the wonderful song Little Wing
