Car music:

The raw energy and the original style at early stages of career are quite often missing down the road when mature artists are trying to re-invent themselves. Recorded 40 years ago.

Yesterday I ordered the Sinatra boxset, Masterworks, which came earlier today. Impessed with the quality of the presentation and packagaging - especially as it was only £15!

First in the CD player is this classic (probably too light, too early in the day to be playing it, but never mind). SQ seems very, very good.

I'm delighted to hear that the SQ is very good (as hoped for), can't wait for mine to arrive sometime this week!

I found St Germain a bit monotonous for the mood I'm in, so a little modern prog from Mr Wilson.

On CD:-

More Frank, sounding mighty fine, from the bargain "Masterworks" box - which is turning out to be the bargain of the century!

Perge ~ Attalus (4 May 2013)

"...heavily influenced by the "classic" [early] Tangerine Dream period. New compositions painstakingly created to have the signature sound of the Franke / Froese / Schmoelling years, but this time with some of the Baumann and Haslinger eras in there too."
