A lovely atmospheric ambient album with mellow indie tunes.

A nice album with good memories for me too, I had it on cassette tape back in the day. Lost or stolen and never replaced, I might have a look to see if I can get the CD.

Gianluigi,

I feel your pain.

I did the same with Speakers Corner classical reissues. :/

So those 50$ CDs are no good?

Hi Kuma!

I thought that the cheap vinyl of this i had many years ago was somehow faulty and btw my turntable wasn't so good. It's exactly the same. Sounds like your TT can't keep speed. I read here about other shcm discs here (dire straits i.e.)  and they had good review. So i don't know what to say. Albeit i had it from a shop in USA at a reasonable price i'll avoid to buy them again even for few coins. Call it experience....

An old favourite, original vinyl bought as a deletion for 50 in about 1971/2, still sounds great on my LP12 with very little noise even though it needed a half p on the headshell of my BSR deck to track! Polydor only listed the medley for side 2 on the cover missing the best tracks off the list.

All down to which ever master tape they use.

Django Django ~  Django Django (2012)

Fun music if you are in a funky, poppy, boppy sort of mood. A cracking debut album and I note that (at last) their next is due out on 5th May.

As one Amazonian commented  "If the essence of The Beatles (Circa Sergeant Pepper) and the Beach Boys were smashed in a particle accelerator and time warp propelled into the 21st century, Django Django could well be the result."
