Mendelssohn's piano quartets nrs 2 & 3, a 2010 recording by the Fauré Quartett. Mendelssohn's chamber music remains largely unknown, but includes many gems. These works aren't quite on the level of the string quintets or the cello sonatas, but still good for an occasional airing.

Stephen Stills. Eponymous solo debut on HDCD from 2005. One of the better albums of 1970, a stellar year for rock LPs. Supported by a cast of legendary musicians.

On UK vinyl.

Nirvana. In Utero. On CD from 1993. Because nothing soothes the jangled nerves at the end of a long day quite like Nirvana

The Sacd hybrid is even better than the original release. Both layers of the Hybrid are wonderful.

A truly amazing sounding disc. Reminds me to dig it out later

I just love some of the pretentious rubbish that spotify puts in their biog writings; the one for this artist is a fine example.  Coffeehouse folk, D.I.Y., what?
