This recent album is very good indeed. Great jazz guitar.

I am Spartacus.

I am Clintus

A renaissance album that I have not heard before.  Annie Haslam is in very fine voice on this one.

Hmmm...don't know.

Do we need to know what anybody is listening to? Does this thread need to exist?

Does this forum REALLY serve a purpose in the larger scheme of things?

Are you, by any chance, related to my boss?

I don't think so! Posting whole albums, with something about why others might like it is one thing, but a whole string of individual tracks with nothing added is something else. Still, it's a way to climb the Forum rankings. Anyway, like you say, it really doesn't matter. No offence intended.

I wasn't aware there was anything to be gained by posting more often.

Actually the reason I name the tracks is because they are part of a playlist being produced randomly by my server. When I rip my music I screen the albums and only leave the best tracks on my main drive. The other less interesting tracks are kept only as backup. So if the server is playing a particular track it doesn't necessarily mean (IMHO) that the whole album is worthy of being recommended.

No offense taken.

Track: Lord Tell me Why

A last one for the road...

Track: Dancing in the Dark

Now, that's a great album.

Nice album.

Isleys Live

One of the greatest soul/funk live albums of all time. Ernie certainly tears it up on guitar.

So's mine and I paid that for it new, albeit deleted, it takes me back to a time when much more music was new and exciting. Thankfully fora/ums like this show me lots of good new music and some old that I've forgotten or not heard

There's so much good music out there if one cares to look, and it's so much cheaper than when I was a kid.

A blast from the past of initial punk period.

I kind of thought of it as a playlist.  And, I look forward to the competition.   I will catch Kuma someday, or die trying.

But do expect to have them start telling you what you can listen to, as well.

good listenin', Iconoclast

edit:  I wasn't quick enough.

+1 for London Grammar.  Hannah's accent is wonderful too (especially if you live in Bristol!).

When I can figure out how to add an album cover, I will show a picture of The Alan Parsons Project's Pyramid.  We have recently been re-united and it's great to catch up after a long time...  Lovely to hear David Paton's voice again (who?)

You are not wrong, someone here has just reminded me to buy some Clifford T Ward, thanks.
