I could have sworn that was Ray Winstone having a change of career.

When I first saw the image I thought the guy over Russell's left shoulder was Adam Duritz of Counting Crows and he had lost some weight.

Looks like Christine Mcvie and Chris Rea have also joined the band.

Ur on a roll Tony. Lol

The afternoons and early evenings albums.

First play of an album recommended by a friend. Pacy rock fronted by a female vocalist.  Early impressions are favourable.  Deserves having the wick turned up more so I'll be replaying this at the weekend

Disc one from this set described as "Some blues & roots, revisited".

Moshimoss - endless endings

Wonderful night music!

Not the easiest music or - possibly - the best entry point for Martinu; but the cat won me over.

I'd not seen LiveFromDarylsHouse for a while and found this episode with Grace Potter.

A new singer to my ears, glad I found her...

Got sent a signed ltd edition double disc set of her first album directly from her management company but never really took to her music. Sold it on fleabay for quite a few bucks.

Have listened to all her following discs and have felt the same with them but keep hoping she'll make that one album that will float my boat.

She is fabulous looking and is a great singer.

Denis you should dig out the Billy Gibbons and Joe Walsh sets as they almost burn Daryl's House down.

Edie Brickell. Shooting Rubber Bands At The Stars. On vinyl from 1988.  I'm not aware of too many things, but I like this album if you know what I mean

Boulez/Cleveland Mahler 7th.

Boulez’s organization helps to keep the score focused and linear, not so much wondering around. Now it has a finite beginning, middle and the end.

This is a shortest 7th so far. ( abou 25 min. shorter than Klemperers'! )

He keeps pushing the music forward throughout yet still retaining turn of the century splendor.

I particularly love his Nachtmusik. Layers upon layers of dark shaded colours create deeper and richer textures.

The finale does not quite have the regal feel of klemperer set but pretty impressive ending with a huge bang.

Dear Kuma, during the week I have difficult to answer you but I'm reading all. One fast question: what is this 4D sound? Just curious.
