BTW does anyone know where the title '90125' came from?
According to Wiki':
"90125 became and still stands as Yes' most successful album commercially. The album was titled after its Atco Records catalogue number (for example, 7-90125-1 for the LP)."
From the mono vinyl box, my favourite Fabs album, a bit of a treat because I am desperately hung over and need cheering up
RIP John Renbourn. A great musician and one of my all time favourite guitarists.
I saw him many years ago at Burnley Mechanics. A friend had taken me but wasn't really interested in the music. He was reading a magazine or something and suddenly looked up in amazement and said "How many people are on stage?" He put his magazine away and stared to take notice.
Tail's end: Scubert's two Impromptus, Chopin's Nocturne #8 and Bach/Hess 'Jesus Bleibet Meine Freude'.

Try the Courtney Barnett album above then, worked for me
Burning down the house with this.

Apparently the challenge is to listen all the way through. That means no getting up to make a cup of coffee or going out to cut the grass. Than, if you get to the end and you're still listening, you get to join a very elite club!

RIP John.
I remember borrowing this from the library when I was a student. It came with a full transcription of the album. I very much enjoyed learning to play 'The Lamentation of Owen Roe O'Neill' in open G minor tuning (DGDGBbD).

Always have to play few extra times the track of Renee Fleming singing the Bachianas Brasileiras No 5.

With me it was The Hermit in DADGAD. I never seemed to have enough fingers though

Dire Straits ~ Money for Nothing (1988)
I couldn't resist picking this up for well under £1 the other day, in mint condition and remastered in '96 but sounding fine for that.

Hi Sorren,
Yes, really enjoy the unpredictable nature of their songwriting.
Have you tried, Knifeworld - The Unravelling?

Frank Sinatra ~ Nice n' Easy (1960)
Part of the marvellous (2014) Masterworks 15 album box set, the remastered sound quality of which continues to surprise and amaze me. This particular album is with Nelson Riddle and his Orchestra who I always felt worked so well with "the man".
