Apparently the challenge is to listen all the way through. That means no getting up to make a cup of coffee or going out to cut the grass. Than, if you get to the end and you're still listening, you get to join a very elite club!

Managed it Clive!

Congrats, Kev. You're a braver man than me.

Hardcore listeners would include bonus tracks and out-takes too - in a single sitting!

Spinning some old vinyl on a nice relaxing spring afternoon.  Part of a collection of LPs that I received from a friend and sorting through.  Very nice recording and playing.

A recent purchase that I've now had the opportunity to play at the volume level it deserves.  Nice.  One track, Broken, has been causing me to rack my brains because the lead guitar reminds me of something else and tonight it hit me: Cream's Tales of Brave Ulysses.    So I had to dig out Disraeli Gears for a play just to be sure.

More old vinyl.  This one is a very thin pressing.  Still sounds good.  Some organ music that I am not familiar with.  Can feel the lower organ notes.

I've not heard this one, but I hope you've heard the Village Vanguard albums, Graeme.

One of my all times favs.  Great recoding, the acoustic of Trinity Church is very good, was simply mic'ed and if you listen closely you can sometimes hear the low frequency rumble of the subway passing underground nearby.

Having played the delightful Rising Sands the other evening, I thought I'd enjoy some more of Ms Krauss' work

Continuing with more old vinyl.  Piano played with some passion by Felicja Blumental.

Ferry - Dylanesque. He really makes this great material swing imo.

Very delicate piano by Shura Cherkassky on the Liszt.

Its actually the air conditioning wind rattling the registers. It is very obvious on the first acapella track. I actually think it adds to the sense of space and credibility. Regardless, an amazing album and an even more amazing oevre (if you discard Whites off Earth Now).
