Golldfrapp ~ Tales of Us (2013)

Utopia - Utopia

I am currently capturing my vinyl digitally at 9624 and so have been taking many trips down memory lane. In fact this is an album I have owned for over thirty years, and never played.

I remember coming up to Oxford Street from Uni with some friends to visit Virgin Mega Store and buy some music. A friend recommended this to me due to the associations with Todd Rundgren; I accepted the recommendation and never played the LP.

....and? Excellent. As soon as I played Libertine I knew I should have listened sooner!

The Clash...... One of my favourite albums of all time

Still sounds mighty fine.

And as some of you seem to like to say...... On original vinyl.... I remember buying it at HMV Oxford St. when it was released.

One of my favorites also. I bought my first copy at a store in Norfolk, Virginia during my more nautical days.

Ferry - Avonmore. An impulse treat in Sainsbury's with a few essentials on the way home. Got a bit of an Avalon groove to it  but not so dark. I'm opening a few cold ones.
