Ozric Tentacles ~ Paper Monkeys (2011)

Finding out yesterday that they have a new double album being released on May 11th prompted me to dust off their last studio album.

Ps the audiophile quality is not the best - but emotion etc compensates a lot...

Rick Miller ~ Dark Dreams (2012)

"This was produced in the genre of what I would call Progressive Rock. That term defining the type of music that was made famous throughout the 70s by bands such as Genesis, The Moody Blues and Pink Floyd. The music is soft, dark and melancholy because that's the way I like it. So if you like your Prog Rock with lots of jazz fusion or heavy metal in it, you may not find what you're looking for here." -Rick Miller

Just also listened to it on bandcamp, sounds good....thanks for sharing...

Thanks Bert, It's more Moody Blues than Pink Floyd but it's a pleasant listen.

The bad habit of those years was adding effects everywhere anyway imho. I hate those artificials reverbered drums

The only problem that I have with the Ozrics is that one is never quite enough...
