Found myself quietly humming Black Dog a few times over recent days. Can't think why because I haven't played this album for ages.  So I suppose my unconscious has prompted this.

That's the nice thing about music, everybody has it's own taste and that's exploring each other interests make so great. For the best indication, it's difficult to say that as such as you have in principle a top 10 in each style - and depending on the mood you prefer one. Other great ones are from Transatlantic, Sylvan, Porcupine Tree and others...

Neighbours away so I can give this epic and high-octane album the volume it really deserves. Visceral!

With the adrenaline now running another high-octane album had to follow.  My Electra 1028s just seem to love this sort of music.

Analogia pastorale for Saturday's cool afternoon. Can't say enough about Arrau's playing and the vinyl's sound. The LP's surface remained noise free despite its mature age.
