I'm glad you found ESKA interesting. I have listened to her quite a lot during last few days. Heros & Villains turned out to be quite a earworm.

IMHO still their best.
Yep it is the same guy who appeared in the X Files and this isn't brilliant but it ain't bad either.
Trio jazz (guitar, bass, drums), strong foundation from drums almost rock type while the guitar player and the bass player solo away in balance. I like it while the drums might be a bit less in the background, or perhaps that still my cables running in....
Continuing with the same guys as the other album was so pleasant...
Madonna's finest hour IMO. I just needed some sumptuous pop with a bit of drama sprinkled with William Orbit fairy dust to soothe the pain of the impending new week. Hit the spot perfectly.
Yes I agree about this being her best album. And the song Frozen is a stunner.
CD rip. I love Blue Jean Blues. 
Always good to end the listening for the evening with these guys...
Have just cooked for aged parents. They've now gone. Finishing a bottle of Montepulciano d'Abbruzzo (oak aged, 2011, Southweststokie if you're reading) with this:

Nrs 2 and 6 from Maazel's Pittsburgh Sibelius cycle. Revered in some corners, maligned in others, I've always felt these to sound careful to the point of blandness, but they age well. In any case worth hearing just for the amazingly lifelike recordings. The huge dynamic range practically demands these are played back at high volume level. Not your first Sibelius cycle, but one to live with.

I assume you got it through the jazzlounge. This is a great iniative of providing live coverage - unfortinately the quality is not on CD level, but for IPOD etc it's great content. I copied in the link for others..(as it's non commercial and non scam it should be ok for Naim...)
