Storm Corrosion ~ Storm Corrosion (2012)

"Storm Corrosion is the eponymous debut album from Mikael Ã…kerfeldt of Swedish heavy metal group Opeth and Steven Wilson, who fronts the British rock group Porcupine Tree. This progressive rock album is very orchestral in its sound and consists of six ten-minute tracks, with Ã…kerfeldt mainly on guitar while Wilson concentrates on keyboards and arrangement."

I assume you got it through the jazzlounge. This is a great iniative of providing live coverage - unfortinately the quality is not on CD level, but for IPOD etc it's great content. I copied in the link for others..(as it's non commercial and non scam it should be ok for Naim...)

Nope my source is closer to the actual recording but thanks for the link as I will have a look around it.

Porcupine Tree ~ The Sky Moved Sideways (1995)

I haven't listened to this in a number of years and wanted to give it an airing.

"The Sky Moves Sideways is regarded by many fans as one of Porcupine Tree's finest releases and a cornerstone of any Porcupine Tree collection. Recorded partly as a Steven Wilson solo project and partly as a full band album, The Sky Moves Sideways is a diverse experimental rock release spanning space rock and progressive rock styles with long guitar led, instrumental sections."

Porcupine Tree ~ Stars Die (2008)

This one is a bit of a chronological retrospective for both Steve Wilson and the early emergence of PT '91 - '97. All the original tracks have been well remastered; this is much more than an early years "best of" album as it includes something like nine or ten additional tracks from out of print EPs.

Steve Hogarth &  Richard Barbieri ~ Not The Weapon But The Hand (2012)

Unfortunately this is my first listen and early impressions are that I have been missing out on a good one... the debut album from Steve Hogarth (Marillion) & Richard Barbieri (Porcupine Tree).

A really good album and to my mind his best with lovely 'Floyd overtones.

I'm well thanks Tony. The 500's fans were working overtime with this one.
