Still working through this 2 CD set. Some great blues from the late '50s early '60s.
Splendid Elgar I from Stockholm, and one of today's great conductors: Sakari Oramo. Cockaigne is one of those pomp and circumstance-like works that put me off Elgar for a very long time, until I got to know him better through the two symphonies, violin concerto, cello concerto and chamber music - all of which among the genre's best IMO.

Enjoyable, an alternative trio to the trio which unfortunately has stopped ...

Highly entertaining album, the trio is very communicative and bring an interesting rhythmic flaire to the traditional trio setup. A must buy for people who like trio piano jazz..

A classic album. The Wind Cries Mary is the song that originally drew me to Hendrix and still has a special feeling for me whenever I hear it.
Volume 1 - Love Songs - from the above box set. And I playing this because I'm seeing Suzanne Vega at the Union Chapel, Islington tomorrow evening.
Sisters of mercy, First and Last and Always. Nine while Nine and Some kind of Stranger are hauntingly wonderful.
