EFSS one of my favourite Berlin school bands from the modern era.

Pleasant ambient electronica.

Had a really pissy day and I'm so hacked off dealing with complete and utter twa**, such huge arseholes with egos to match but with skill, intellect and talent levels in perfectly inverse proportion, I felt the need of some healing.

This helps.

Sheryl Crow on CD. Another one that has sat in the rack for a long time. Really enjoying this one, the production sounds great to me.

I was so impressed with this guy that I bought all of his work from Bandcamp, I'm not alone thousands have done the same before me. If you like guitar music, rock, progressive, metal, djent then you should have a listen.

Interesting album, with artistic quality but also with drive...

2 CD rip. Another of the Blues compilations I've been buying recently, only £4.21 on Amazon.

This one with music from the Vocalion label is predominantly very early tracks from the pioneers of Blues like Charlie Patton, Tampa Red, Bessie Smith. Robert Johnson etc. The SQ of the recordings is generally not great, given how they were often recorded, but the quality of the music is sublime.

J.J. Cale "anyway the wind blows" The Anthology.

Another artist I've seen recommended on this forum so when I discovered the cd at the record shop today I just had to get it. Very nice music so far. There are 50 songs to discover and I have a feeling it's going to be rather nice.

That is an absolutely awesome collection Mr Fjeld, you have a nice time ahead of you!

I love it because the songs are generally short and to the point, nothing unnecessary added to them, but just great music.

I also had never bought anything by him until last year. Thanks to the Forum for this tip!

Starving Daughters ~ We Were Eggs

Very much a late '60s psychedelic feel to this album, it's very much out there but if you can stick with it and you are in the mood its good.

Thanks Chris! It really is a very nice cd. Now playing for the second time

This forum has also made me aware of other bands such as Tedeschi Trucks Band and lately also The Decemberists. So many tips to be had at this great forum!
