Supertramp, The Very Best Of, not a group I know especially well or that I have ennjoyed much in the past and I only put this on because I heard Crime of the Century on the radio in the car, but whether its because the mac and Hugo are working their magic, or because I'm in the right mood, I have to say I'm enjoying this very much, and will probably have a delve into some of their albums at some point.

Now watch what you say or they'll be calling you a radical!

I'm starting to think you may be right Wat, very pleasant to find a new group to explore

I've a soft spot for Lou Rawls.

All The Things in Time : 1976 release.

Disco influenced ( I supposed everyone did back then ) chart bustin' R&B album which contains hits 'You'll never find Another Love LIke Mine' , 'Pure Imagination' and my fave 'Groovy People'.

More Rawls kick. Less funky and more laid back tunes.

Unmistakably Lou. 1977 release.

Sit Down and Talk to Me: 1979 release.

Lou goes back to more groovy happy tunes with a touch of blues and down tempo R&B beats.

A bit strange feeling as it's not his normal type of music, but a decent disc, while not reference...

This particular version of their album including the Live Filmour East, Fairfield Hall and BBC session additions is really excellent and something I come back to time and time again. Highly recommended but getting toward silly money to buy nowadays.

There is one the Bay for £17.
