I often think that Beethoven would have really liked the Moog Synth' as an instrument and would have made some wonderful music with it

Bert,

Your posts often show a snip/bitmap of the Naim app, like this one.

How do post a snip-it/view from the Naim app on the forum? Tell us how!

Thanks,

Bert

P.S. already recovered from North Sea Jazz Festival (ears, feet, throat?)

Hi Bert,

Yes I am already recovered but looking forward to next years version again. I guess I will to reduce the pain with my next booked jazz festival on the 7th of November in Eindhoven with and exciting number of artist.,

So the copying of the artwork happens more or less straight forward. Make a screenshot on your Ipad or Iphone by pushing at the same time the on/out button and the home button (at the same time) - you should hear a sound as if you are taking a picture.

Ensure you have an account with a service like photobucket (free). Upload the picture you just made in photobucket. Select the photo and copy the direct link to the photo into the picture insert part on the Naim forum (the picture logo at the top of a posting). Limit the first dimension to 500 under appearance and that gives you the picture in the post.

Joe's first three albums are true classics for me. There always time to play one of them. Superb unique voice.

I'd forgotten what a great album this is. Lovely music, great recording.

Finally got around to purchasing this often recommended CD today.  On first listen I'm impressed. A bit of a different style for M Gardot:  slower, moodier tempo, and the some lovely deep, dark yet subtle bass.  Think I'll be spinning this often.

Just listening to this at the moment too. Very different from her other albums but it's a fantastic listen.

There are actually several choices: classical, jazz, latin, lounge etc. I am at moment listening to oldies, meaning mostly music from 60's (at least just now). All these at 320k.

Thank you, a station to add to the list. The Dutch seem to have a really good handle on iRadio music stations and what people want to listen to in quality streams.

Ironically, you can't dance to it. One of the lesser known/less successful albums. Atmospheric, clean & full of the unique bass guitar playing of the late mick karn.

John Mellencamp. Plain Spoken. On vinyl from 2014. Wonderful album. Playing this in anticipation of his concert Sunday at Benaroya Hall.

John Mellencamp. Uh-huh. On vinyl from 1983. From his "Cougar" days. He's been playing the first three tracks from this album (Crumblin' Down, Pink Houses, and Authority Song) on his current tour with more of an acoustic, country-influenced sound.
