AIFF 24/96.

I do have "The complete studio albums" 24/96 from HDTracks and considering to buy the Vinyl box.

Has had a member the opportunity to listen to both versions?

Lynyrd Skynyrd. All Time Greatest Hits. On the MCA CD from 2000. Enjoyed this with my son lazing on the couch in the adjacent room, catching up on his texting after work. A nice selection of songs. Includes the live version of Freebird as the fitting finale.

Test run hadn't heard him before, pretty good....

The Who. Who Are You (1978). On reissue CD from 1996. Includes the 'lost verse mix' of "Who Are You". Keith Moon's swan song and I think Roger Daltry's best vocal performance on the title track.

Nice recording again from Tarja.

No compression - just full-on concert recording performance. Nice to hear the disk 2 versions recorded in Germany and Russia too.

Also nice to finally hear her live version of Nightwish's 'The Siren' without awful compression that her former band always adds to ruin their live releases now.
