Lots of discussion recently about Dylan, here's one of his best latterday albums, on vinyl:

The companion audio (on vinyl) from this SD set - I have to say it is rather disappointing as the various "rough mixes" are barely distinguishable from their officially-released counterparts.

1966  "STEREO" Vinyl

A 1998 recording. Volume 1 is the only one in my collection. If I want to go through all eight suites I play the three excellent discs of Ragna schirmer performing on the piano.

This is much more like it - the extra material (2 LPs) on Coda is fantastic:

Saw this concert also live, with a different orchestra, she is something else - brilliant playing and also looking gorgeous in her special dresses...

Hi Kevin,

I think this is the one to get from the latest batch. I read a review which said the deluxe version takes a disappointing half hour album and turns it into very decent and interesting record.

The deluxe version of Presence has some alternative mixes that give the rather toppy originals a bit of bottom end grunt.

I played a little Gazpacho yesterday evening and wanted to hear some more. They can take a few listenings to get into but it's well worth it. I think that most of their albums are available on Deezer Elite for anyone who wants to try.

Continued with Wayne Shotter - his quartet albums are great

Completely agree Keith, in terms of content, Coda is the best of these reissues. There's some really good unheard stuff.

On Presence, I love that JPJ/Page instrumental, "Pod" - great piano on that.

Delightful recording of Rossini's early comedy.
