An outdoors recording, another proof that good music can be enjoyed anywhere. Uri Cain is much better here than in his Beethoven variations.

By Scott Walker (2012)

I very much enjoy Soused that he made with SunnO))) last year, so I am listening to this one from him via Deezer for the first time to hear what it's like.

Haim,

I have seen them also in vinyl occasionally but they are ultra expensive!

I am amased that how these Denon's early digital recording sounds! I honestly can't tell if this is a digital or analogue recording. So natural and they get the piano tone in tace in spite it's only a Red book resolution. I don't know how they get that so close. They all put any of DG's digital recording to shame.

I am pulling out Uchida's Mozart per your suggestion next.

One of the best bands I ever saw live. Converted 2 heavy metal friends of mine to reggae.

Do you know what?  That's just prompted me to pop it into the CDX2

It's OK. A little different to most of the music I usually play.

Gazpacho, Tick Tock on CD through some new B&W P7 headphones that are amazingly good. First listen. I have seen this group pop up on here a few times so thought I'd give them a try. So far so good.

Then onto Demons. I like this from the first listen, but think it will grow on me even more.

The dog barking at the beginning sounds like he's in the yard next door. My speakers are in phase!

One of the greatest debut albums.

Love this guy. Great in concert, and we listen to his records a lot. We're seeing him in New York in January.
