Quick listen into this one, to determine if I would like to buy the high res version which just came out....

Like this one quite a bit, of course not comparable to the original, but a great variant...

On vinyl from 1992:

Isaac Guillory - "Slow Down"

Followed by (again on vinyl) fro 1990:

Isaac Guillory - "Solo"

Two great albums from the late Isaac Guillory, who was one of the very finest live performers around. A brilliant guitarist and fine singer.

A Happy Hunting Ground to Get in the Swing to if you Take Me Out

On vinyl from 1977:

Commander Cody Band - "Rock 'n Roll Again"

For no good reason other than I haven't played anything by Commander Cody for ages. An enjoyable listen.

Frank Sinatra: Ol' Blue Eyes is Back 1973 release

Lacklustre material and Sinatra's voice is stressed and clearly he doesn't have a kind of vocal range and control he used to have.

I am surprised that he let this one go to print.

Frank Sinatra: Cycles 1968 release

It's a hoot to listen to Frank doing Joni's 'Both Sides Now' covers. Interesting thing is that Joni's original is still fresh 47 years later whilst this cover aged badly in that it is only interesting from a historical perspective and for hard core fans.
