First press CD in fat boy case. My favourite Tull - Streamed as WAV sounds great. Amazing dynamics.

Yello - Live at the Roxy '83 on one-sided mid 80s coloured vinyl. Stonking. Think I will be playing music loudly all day, as all the neighbours seem to be away.

A recent purchase of an old album getting an airing. I don't believe that J.J. could have made a bad album even if he had tried to.

Nah G - am absolutely skint until Tuesday...

But am listening to the live commentary on BBC Radio London now... and, unbelievably we are 1-0 up at Anfield!

including Revolution 9.

Kevin, I  think there's a 12-step group for that!

2 Nill K. You have not won at Anfield since 1963 when the boys had She Loves You at no1. Could this be your day?

Sounding very good indeed on this [1996] 25th Anniversary from the Chrysalis label.

"The ideals of bands such as Dr Feelgood and Eddie & The Hot Rods, eschewing the prog and glam scene of the time and getting back-to-basics, were a catalyst for the punk rock movement of the late 70's. The likes of The Ramones and Paul Weller have acknowledged the influence of this album and even if you are not an R&B fan it's worth a spin just to see why."

Mravinsky/Leningrad: Tchaikovsky Symphony 4 1960 recording

Cool, calm and collected.

There is nothing better than Mravinsky's Tchaikovsky 6th I am indifferent with his 4th. It opens gingerly and measured and he's keeping his cards closely to his chest all the way through.

The final movement is like a nightmarish circus. Malfunctioning Merry-go-round on the loose.
