Perhaps my favourite AIR album and it's sounding particularly good today.
"Pocket Symphonyjourneys further from the pop firmament than ever before. Slow, stately songs built around the tick of electronic drums, the trill of vintage synthesisers, and somewhat unexpectedly, some traditional Japanese instruments – the koto, a Japanese floor harp, and the banjo-like shamisen – it's an album apparently more concerned with texture and mood than crafting catchy pop fromage." - Louis Pattison (Amazon)

Two of Bach's keyboard suites, by Pierre Hantai on the harpsichord. This is simply a beautiful and beautifully judged performance, never stale.

Surprisingly this did not seem out of place to play after AIR despite a thirty year gap in time and coming from a different genre. This one was re-mastered in 2012 and seems to have survived the mastering quite well sounding fresh and vibrant.

Because my wife is fed up with me playing reggae all the time and sort of in preparation for seeing him latter this month at The RAH:
Do you think I can get away with playing The Dub Side Of The Moon next?

Anytime is good is a good time to listen JJ and this live album recorded over a number of years across a variety of venues playing various hits and favourites is no exception.

The brilliant 1988 follow up to the fantastic Boat to Bolivia. This album contains the singles There Comes A Time and Wholly Humble Heart. Fantastic SQ on original "thin" 80s vinyl.

I only had the one Steve Hillage album on vinyl and it was many years before I got a CD version of it. Radio and Not Fade Away are my favourite songs on this. I wonder what happened to Steve H?
