Started the day with this one (on bedroom system). 'Deadwing' by Porcupine Tree

Maintaining the Steve Wilson thread, this was next on the NDS. This is finally starting to work for me. It was when I was following the lyrics and reading the other text in the sleeve notes whilst listening to the vinyl copy a couple of weeks ago that it really started to make sense. Still not as progressive as the Raven, but I might even change that opinion in time.

Prompted by Joe and Clive's earlier postings. This one is out of the Studio Years 1969-1987 box set (2013). These are the same Rhino remasters from 2003 but repackaged with original album art work mini-sleeves and bonus tracks mostly made up of studio outtakes and remixes. It will be interesting to hear what Steve Wilson does with it.

Never really got into them.

This album followed up Really two years later, listening to it because the 30 minutes or so of Really was just not enough Cale.

For me Cale is the no brainer answer to the question ''What music would you want to listen to if you were stranded on a desert island?''

Yello never cease to make me smile, I really enjoy the rhythm, beats and fast pace that they inject into their music, it's always a fun ride. This one is sounding very good on original '87 Mercury CD.

Great bass sound, the 24/192 does make a difference...

Must give that another play. Three times so far and I not yet 'getting it'.

Something a bit left field (for me anyway). Enjoying it though

For a long time this was one of my lesser-played Supertramp albums, my default being CotC, but for some reason I can't put my finger on I find I'm playing quite often lately.
