Unusual (for me) to start the day with piano but this one caught my eye. Three concertos each with a different soloist and orchestra united however under the common denominator of the conductor Boulez.

She plays with her voice, sometimes I am in the mood for this type of music.

Having bought and enjoyed couple of Zombi's later albums I thought I would try their debut. This is the associated blurb from their publicist: Zombi create boundless, leering soundscapes inspired by filmmakers such as Dario Argento and Lucio Fulci and the musical scores of John Carpenter and Goblin. Zombi's debut Cosmos is a powerful work of eerie, relentless rhythms and futuristic score that shares as much headspace with the late-night sci-fi explorer as the space rock adventurer. For fans of Goblin, Acid Mothers Temple, Hawkwind, Halloween and vidnaObmana.

His most recent release to date and well up to his usual standard of mainly ambient electronica. He just seems to have the knack of captivating the listener and drawing them in with his rhythms, beats and playing style.

Even more funkier their 2nd album is produced by Van McCoy & Charles Kipps.

Listen to this funky groove! "Sometimes Bubba Gets Down" by Chris Parker.

That's a very cool cover, Kuma. Groovy music, man. Nice one!

Not the best recording of a live performance e.g. the bass on The Chain is a bit thin, but otherwise enjoyable.

I know they're getting on a bit, but perhaps it would be better to write 'rip' in lower case!

Some good music from that "little ol' band from Texas" in their earlier years. This one ripped from nice sounding original 1988 Warner Bros. CD.

Fancied a 'blast from the past'. Sounds tamer today than it did at time.

Sara Mingardo and Sandrine Piau in their prime, supported by Alessandrini in a superb selection of Handel arias and duets. All the bits here are as good as they promise, and the result must be the very best Handel sampler and one of the best operatic recitals ever.

There has been many a time I have played their entire catalogue back to back. Don't panic though, that's not something I'm going to inflict on the forum tonight, I'll just play a few of their older albums. This one is another before Billy and Dusty had got into the mega beard "thang".
