I would agree with you on that one Kevin. Don't think he has bettered it and from the trax I have heard off the new one I am still of the same opinion.

Heard quite a few tracks from the new album at the DG gig in Brighton last week Ewen. The best you could say is... "a bit meh". I rather wish he would play some of the better songs from the first LP - "Short & Sweet", "There's No way Out of Here", "No Way", "I Can't Breathe Any More" - at his gigs, but he hasn''t done so since the 1984 solo tour.
