Mono vinyl from the recent box. Sounds pretty darn good.

Had a hard time finding a copy at a reasonable price. For a while, the asking price for a used copy was $115. This is my first disc of The Mayback Recital Hall Series:

Is this not one of the finest rock albums of all time?

YES!

Talking Heads. Stop Making Sense. Original CD from 1984. David Byrne can channel a lot of vocal energy through a mic, can't he? Always a fun, interesting character musically and beyond.

Pollini: Chopin Preludes Op.28  1975 recording

This was a huge let down.

This is a very unimaginative reading in that it does not provoke strong visual images. Pollini’s Preludes are almost as fast as Cortot he’s dashing through them but his tunes do not leave the lasting impressions nor a sense of attitude or style.

My favourite Maybeck Recital CD is Marian Mcpartland.

This as the infamous CD that clipped the NAP150 when driving the Briks at a moderate volume. I lost two tweeters.

Neil Young. Silver & Gold. On HDCD from 2000. A calming, soft album, harkens back to "Harvest".

Brave (Live) ~ Marillion

(2013)

If anything this is better than their great studio album.

"Recorded on the 9 March 2013 at the Marillion Weekend in Centre Parcs, The Netherlands. This CD features the whole of the Brave album performed in full plus all of the encores set. Audio taken from the Brave Live 2013 Bluray & DVD sets".

On vinyl. Can't think of an excuse for listening to it, other than the fact that it's brilliant.

(1993)

Classic early Pendragon with lovely guitar work reminiscent of Pink Floyd in some places. Something in their progressive style always hits the spot with me, hence it being played now.
