Music Matters' 33 rpm Cool Struttin' is the best I have heard so far.
This is one of my favourite.
Get the music matters or blue note?
I'm guessing that a Blue Note original is pretty costly... So go with the Music Matters. Similar in "cool factor" to Kind of Blue -- really nicely redone by MM.
It helps, of course, that it's a cracking good album to start with, but I think I too will be joining you in getting a Music Matters copy of this gem. I have to say it looks pretty cool on Kuma's Sondek.
Yes, The Yes Album, a group that passed me by but I love this album. flac via audirvana/hugo
Seems a RUSH sort of day (ie anyday), CD rips to AIFF:-
Signals
Grace Under Pressure.
Now some thing different:-
Runrig - Stamping Ground
Excellent choices sir. Some good music on here tonight
Bought this at the weekend; debut album from C Duncan from a few months ago that has been getting a lot of airplay on BBC 6 music.
The Police, Greatest Hits on CD.
I had forgotten just how much I like this album. Brings back found memories. My Sister played their albums to death as she loved Stewart Copeland.
Kings of Leon, Only By The Night, had this on in the car today and even then it sounded great. A real break through album that moved them main stream and not a weak song on it. Flac via audirvana/hugo

There is a 75th anniversary Blue Note, which is much cheaper than the MM version on Amazon.
Rush, Signals, inspired by an earlier post, not that it takes much. The first album I saw them tour on in 83 and really the start of the keyboard years but some really great songs including the beautiful and poetic Losing It. 24 bit flac via audirvana/hugo
Bush. Sixteen Stone. On original CD from 1994. Having played No Doubt's "Tragic Kingdom" last night, this seemed a natural follow up. A solid album and numerous tracks were common during my intensive alternative rock radio listening from the mid-1990's.
Sneaky, you must be making trips to the used record shop with your pickup truck!
I really do have a lot all of a sudden...I keep running out of inner sleeves.

Current all 20$ Blue Note 75th anniversary reissues are cut from a digital master. I haven't heard one to see what they did with it but I assume they have remastered it yet again from Ron McMaster's.
If you could find a black 'b' blue label reissue from the 70s, those are still sourced from the analogue tape. After that Ron McMaster's digital remastering isn't bad ( late 80s early 90s? ) but it does not have the midrange presence of Music Matters reissue which was sourced from the original master tape. ( and remastered and recut by Kevin Gray )
They are offered in both 45rpm( Steve Hoffmann ) and newer 33 rpm pressing ( Kevin Gray ). I haven't compared them side by side but the latter sounds so much more natural and dynamic than my Classic Records reissue ( Bernie Grundman ) or Ron McMasters.
The Cure. Disintegration. Original CD from 1989. Another one of my wife's CDs I was fully expecting to place on the discard pile, I found something beguiling about the sound. Dark, eerie, and maybe even oppressive music, it strikes a mood. I'll keep this for a second listen before casting judgment.
Not spectacualry good, but good enough to have an enjoyable listen..
Beck. The Information. On CD from 2006. Discovered only a month or so ago, I'm repeatedly drawn to this for Beck's inherent funk, originality, and musical artistry.
Great debut...
This evening's listening:
(1969) CD
Other than it's BB King? The album itself is as old as me!
Eilen Jewell - Sundown Over Ghost Town
(2015) CD
Enjoy it more with each listen.
Now:
(2011) CD
Got this based on a forum recommendation. Haven't listened to it in a while.
