Reportedly, some edits from other live shows were inserted, but no studio edits were made. Would loved to have been there.

As this indeed has been published a couple of times. I have to say that I see the DVD of that performance as an even bigger delight.

Not as good as the key album before - but stil enjoyable during a workout...

Have to still get my head more around this one. A bit a faint feeling of Radiohead with some other influences as well - with a variation in song quality...

Uchida's Mozart has become earthy, bold, with ornamentation strictly subordinated to the music's tension arch, and therefore at the same time simpler and more exciting. The second movement of the 19th is one Mozart's greatest tunes but hard to pull off, and comes out brilliantly. The Cleveland are directed from the keyboard, and IMO better than most reviews will tell you. A big contrast with Uchida's earlier recordings with Tate on the stand, in which she was precious but also more layered. Decca's (live - no applause) sound is exceptional.

Waiting in eager anticipation for my Music Matters 33 recording to arrive. Making do with Spotify for now.

But one of their best imo

Agreed, very underrated. I'm thinking first thing to play when I get home tonight :-)

* Edit: I now realise why I missed it after checking with Discogs I see that it was only released in 2011 not 1980. I obviously missed the news.

ZZ Top ~ Live From Texas (2008)

More live from the "Lil ol' band from Texas" not bluesy as  "In Germany"  but their live play gets you up off your seat or at least foot tapping.

I agree that is the stand out track from In Rainbows. On the accompanying tour, at least in the gig I went to, it was about the only song from the album they didn't play.....Bugger
