Just in the mood for some well played hard edged blues with some grunt and this is fitting the bill nicely.

Good stuff indeed. If you've not seen or heard it before, check out G's version of 'The Stumble':

Proper pace and a delicious sound coming out of a gorgeous harpsichord, exactly what a Sunday morning calls for:

Marillion, Fugazi on a 1998 24bit remastered CD and sounding fantastic.

For me Fish is one of the best Lyricist. His use of words can really take you on a journey, If you like Prog Rock and have not heard early Marillion give it a go, after a few listens they can get right into your head.

American Flyer "American Flyer"

1976 folk-rock release with Steve Katz (Blues Project, BS&T), Craig Fuller (Pure Prairie League), Eric Kaz (Blues Magoos) and Doug Yule.  Think Byrds "Sweetheart of the Rodeo", Poco "Pickin' Up The Pieces".  Early US times of country flavors mixing with folk, pop, and rock.  Smooth.

Thanks for the link Clive, it is indeed very good. I have to say that I still miss the likes of great guitarists with such individual styles and sounds as Gary Moore and Rory Gallacher, to name but two!...

Great ELO choices there and still available from a library, around these parts it seems that most "pop" albums get moved on and away after a year or so.

We are indeed lucky still to have good libraries around here. The one which I visit regularly is within walking distance and have a great music section.

Tuck & Patti: Tears of Joy   1988 release

Audiophile level sound quality which can make a good hifi demo, but the content is light as air.
