'Galant' music by Telemann. I think that to succeed in our time this music needs to be injected with enthusiasm and a bit of drama, but La Rêveuse seem content to remain galant - it's all nicely played but rather bland IMO.

Cheers,

EJ

This combination shouldn't work but it does. In musical style I think it leans heavily towards Ms Krauss rather than RP but that's probably for the best.  A lovely album.

Yes indeed, even at low volumes with the little one in bed, but there is a sweet spot on the volume scale where magic happens and Phil jumps into the room,  very enjoyable

Haven't heard these albums for a couple of years Graeme and  today decided to get the vinyls out, give them a good clean on the RCM,  lie back and enjoy them like I used to all those years ago. From Lemmings to Man- Erg to My Room to The Undercover Man those records are timeless!

Hi Gian, I still remember the day I bought Tumbleweed Connection. I was away at college and had a record store just 6 blocks walk away, paid roughly $2.98 - $3.98, took it back to the dormitory room and played it on my Zenith Circle-of-Sound stereo. I like early EJ the best.

By the way, nice picture of your home area, looks beautiful.
