2 x LP - Fine Music 2007 : )

My first listen to this,

going down very well with a glass of red,

while i hurry to cook a late lunch,

a bit like the cover art really : )

Igor Stravinsky: “Vivaldi is greatly overrated—a dull fellow who could compose the same form so many times over.”

Antonio Vivaldi: "Maybe so, but I never composed a circus polka for Barnum's elephants. I didn't need the money that badly. "

I Musici: Vivaldi 4 Concerti 1974? release

My first exposure to I Musici.

Sleep inducing. I am drowning in the sea of sameness.

Neil And The Shocking Pinks. Everybody's Rockin' (1983). On CD from 2000. Vintage sounding rockabilly from Neil Young. A fun, fast listen.

Nirvana. In Utero. Original CD from 1993. In the US, Wal-Mart and KMart initially refused to sell the album, fearing customers might be offended by artwork on the back cover and a track entitled "Rape Me". Mind you, said stores had no issues selling firearms to their customers.

This modified back cover was deemed acceptable.

Many classic tracks on this album, unfortunately the '97 digital remastering by Roger Wake resulted in much compression spoiling the whole thing.

The Best Of Simon & Garfunkel. On CD from 1999. A straight forward 20 track compilation of their best. No alternate takes or bonus tracks. Perfect for the S&G dabbler.
