Genesis, And then there were Three, CD rip.

An album that passed me by first time. Maybe I was a bit biassed but I did tend to think Genesis had kind off turned into Phil Collins and his support band. Anyway I got this on vinyl as a box set and started to like. Now I've got it on CD (ripped) and I'm playing it more and more. Okay non of the theatrics of what I would call 'proper' Genesis but it's a good selection of catchy songs.

This is a wonderful album. Vivaldi on the accordion may sound weird, but with Richard Galliano it just works.

Yes agreed Ragman. They had some excellent albums back then.

IMHO better than Genesis

Not a great fan of either but give me Genesis(PG era) anytime over them.

Frazey Ford. Streaming in FLAC.

Not great SQ, but just good music.

On red vinyl, no less. Fancied some psychedelic trance.

Less dreamy than all other versions I know. Like a strict metronome is standing besides him...

On vinyl. Nice side project from Los Lobos members.

Isn't that just an excellent set of albums? The consistent quality of her songwriting is breathtaking.

Very much agree, Winky. This is a superb set.

(2015) CD

This was on the stereo while browsing a local record store yesterday.  Never heard of the band (artist) before, so picked it up to listen further.  Catchy.  Will give it a few listens.

From Amazon blurb:

World-renowned singer, songwriter and performer City and Colour (aka Dallas Green), returns with his fifth album If I Should Go Before You . Unique to this project, the studio players on the album are made up of Green s trusted touring band: Jack Lawrence (The Raconteurs, Dead Weather) on bass, Dante Schwebel (Spanish Gold, Dan Auerbach) on guitar, Doug MacGregor (Constantines) on drums and Matt Kelly on pedal steel guitar and keys

Nothing like some banging techno for a quiet Sunday evening...
