Bought this on a whim...user here recommended it, and Gatemouth is one of my cousins' favorite musicians. It just arrived today with a K-Mart sticker on it, perfect vinyl with just a little dust.
So far its a lot more Jazzy than I expected.

Produced and arrange by Bob James with impressive musicians. This is Washington's second solo album before he went to far off in easy jazz direction. There is no original tunes here but his take on Purcell tune is interesting with a string trio.
Recorded and engineered by Van Gelder.

Not so much capable of evaluating the performance of a string quartet but the Schubert I heard in two albums from this quartet is like able for me...

Blackfield II, rip, at work plying from PC via Fiio and grado headphones.
After saturation playing of their first album I wasn't sure at first of their second helping. However a few plays later and I can't stop listening to it. Superb detailed playing and excellent vocals from Steven Wilson. Really very good prog but with a pop element in there.
