Listened to the first half of this earlier via the car's hard drive, now back home (hoping to dodge the worst the storm rain and winds) listening to the second half. Really excellent modern prog rock from this British band. You can try it on the Bandcamp site or Deezer Elite, so presumably other streaming sites will have it available.

A period completely "missing" for me - babies instead of hifi and music!  Downloaded the 24bit version - great sound

More great prog rock, this time from Pendragon, harder edged than their early albums and it works really well with the usual superb axe work.

Today's listening so far:

Lindi Ortega - Faded Gloryville

Julia Holter - Extasis

No reason ever needed to listen to this classic.  Is there a better drum solo song than Ramble On? I can't think of one.

Miles better than the Simply Vinyl reissue. That was as flat as a pancake, and I'm not talking about the vinyl itself.

One dose of Led Zep is rarely enough so I've gone for another.

She does look rather lovely, what kind of music does she do?

Roger Waters. Radio KAOS. On CD from 1987. I especially like the tracks "Radio Waves" and "Sunset Strip" where Waters seems able, musically at least, to cut loose the dread and smith a tune with an upbeat whimsical air.

Tom Petty. Full Moon Fever. On CD from 1989. Great album with great SQ. Still, I'd love to stumble across a gently used LP someday. Petty is one artist for me with a sound that seems to gel so well with vinyl.

I always seem to enjoy Tangerine Dream more early in the morning or late at night. This one The Keep is another volume from the Tangerine Tree project.

George Harrison. Eponymous LP from 1979. I remember buying this on its debut and being somewhat disappointed. Fortunately I'm now 36 years older and can appreciate how good an album it was.
