Hi Joe,

A friend gave me a copy last year and he said it was in his top 10 of all time.

I agree its a superb album.Love Cherokee and Going back home especially Claptons guitar on that one.

Wow what a record. Also love Live and Jet set on that one.

The joy of Tidal means I am checking this out now. Have lots of CSN (&Y) but no Stills solo work.

Thanks,

Hi Steve

I am not sure whether anyone else is experiencing this but sometimes your images appear for me and sometimes they don't. In this case they don't. I wondered whether you were using a different process for some of them. Clearly not everyone is getting the blank because people have responded when I cannot see the image. If it's just me then don't worry, if it's not only me perhaps someone can enlighten us. I am using Safari on a MacBook.

Clive and Steve; both Steve's original post image and your reply post image Clive are visible to me. I am on a 2015 Macbook Pro (15" Retina) using Safari and Yosemite OS.

I'm using Imageshack and MacBook Pro. I can't explain why you can't see the images Clive. I've been using the same method for years.

Thanks, Steve. I think there may be an issue with El Capitan and the Naim forum but why your images specifically are disappearing inconsistently is a mystery. I have just installed Firefox and your most  recent listening - the Neil Young - appears in Firefox but not in Safari. I'll stop feeling paranoid now!

Andrew Everard referenced this in his recent review of the NAP250DR. It is stunning if you like big band stuff.

Yesterday, listened to my old Vanguard pressing of Natania Davrath singing Chants d'Auvergne. Now streaming via Qobuz Sublime. Lovely voice and lovely music, balsam for the soul in these sorry times.

A recent discovery, if you like Stacey Kent, Diana Panton the chances are you will like this lady too, I've bought 3 albums recently, all from Bandcamp

A coffee break while dealing with a sea of leaves in the backyard. At least the weather is pleasant.

And some more Dire Straits to follow Brothers In Arms.  I always enjoy the heartfelt emotion in Iron Hand on this.

Quartetto Italliano: Schubert String Quartet No.14 & 12  1965 Recording

Rather disappointing set this.

Somehow they failed to infuse life into the tunes no matter what they are playing they all sound the same in their monotone style. Inflections and dynamics of notes seem all too similar plus dynamic shading is too even handed throughout. No fun to listen to for me.
