Delicate start of the Sunday morning...

This particular fortepiano has an odd coluring with cupped tonal quality. Close mic’d for intimacy but full of air and atmosphere around the instrument which gives a sense of acoustics. The instruments sounds more like Cembalo than pianoforte.

Reminiscent of Beethoven style with more raw emotions exposed. It’s not a typical Mozartian elegant affair. Timing variations and rubato gives an odd sense of unevenness. Banging forte sounds too uncouth for Mozart.

This rendtion isn't happening for me but I am admiring Mozart's versatility as a composer on some of small relatively unfamiliar pieces.

Appliance ~ Six Modular Pieces (2000)

Unsure quite what to follow the excellent "Force Majeure" with I plumped for this.

I saw this guy in Chicago in the '90s and subsequently bought four of his albums on CD. I'm currently ripping my blues CDs and this is the first of his. Great music and SQ. It sounds like it was recorded live in the studio. He's a very good electric blues giutarist reminiscent of Albert King.

It's all over the place , but nevertheless very nice....., young talents..

Grant Green's Idle moments. Perfect for the Sunday morning vibe. To be followed by the return of Damn the Torpedoes. All good Joerand!

Measured, delicate, great music for listening to nuances and relaxation...

Unfortunately only a CD rip. The original LP eluded me over the years. '60s psych.

Time for some comparisons... first up is Osborne. Brendel next.

Jonathan Aasgaard (Cello), Martin Roscoe (Piano)

Cello Sonatas

Just doing my homework.

When I was a child this statement would bring about negative connotations as it meant drudgery and torture or punishment while not being able to do fun things.

Today, there is nothing I would rather be doing...

Blues rock. Jason Bonham drumming, sounds Zep-like compared to their first album.

Amazon's collection includes less and less original covers. So attempting this way.
