Brilliant live album (on vinyl). Was the warm up for Aretha Franklin.

I can't go too many weeks without listening to Dirtwire, this was their first full album [self titled].

"This music combines a number of disparate influences, prominent among them Appalachian, African and Asian, into something that sounds new and refreshingly different". ~ George Henry a Bandcamp Commenter

Due out Jan 22nd next year. His best album.

Also listening to a cover of Dylans Girl from the North Country by Dave and Noah Gundersen which is a great version of the song.

Sounding sublime on the demo 300DR. Think I'm going to find it hard to give it back.

Some lovely Ray Lamontagne to bring the evening's listening session to a close, and so much better than his more recent and very disappointing Supernova album.

Robbie Robertson. Debut LP from 1987. The music is captivating, Bono and Peter Gabriel contribute their stylings, yet when its finished I'm never really certain how much I liked it.

Experimental sound mixed in with some pysch-folk from 1968.
