Really good ambient Berlin School electronica  recorded in concert at E-Live Theater de Enck Oirschot in the Netherlands.

Just had an email from Sony Japan advising me that the proposed Dec release of this album has now been cancelled however it may get an issue next year.

Listening to the recorded version after the live version yesterday...

City and Colour- Little Hell

On CD:-

Karajan/Philharmonia: Sibelius Symphony 2  1960 Recording

Tihs is more of Ormandy school rendering but add a lush Hollywood shine.

Too ponderous for my taste, Karajan is too busy *beutifying* eveyrthing forgetting the plot all together. Expansive vista but lacking rhythmic pulse and heart beat. Same lush treatment carries over to the finale with endless noodling for a fairy dust  *happy ending*. Lack of tension and organisation makes the effort rather shallow the finale does not come soon enough.

Had this on a pile to get rid of and glad I didn't as I had forgotten how good an album this was.

Ewe, I keep streaming this album as I'm not  keen on buying the whole cd box set just for it. I wonder if it's worth getting it on vinyl from Dustygroove across the pond. US$39.00 for 2 coloured vinyl(180g) has got to be a bargain.

Far more pop' orientated than their very progressive and experimental earlier albums. It is not one I ever bought, so it's good to be able to listen to it via Deezer E'.

Just released on Black Friday Vinyl day in US as a double vinyl as Groove With You. Just found it for $29.99 on fleabay USA ,  brand new/sealed. Also available, just found it,  on the river UK,  for just over £30.00.

A chamber music version of Mahler's 4th. Excellent playing and live recording, makes a lot of fun.
