Neil Young. Decade (1977). On 2 CDs (1988). I've always loved this collection of NY's now-dated "early works". It seemed such a timely retrospective when I bought the original vinyl.
Good poetic pop/rock brought today on LP
My other good score today,so much more a relaxed listen on LP
Two albums with the late, great pianist Hank Jones, both featuring the song "A Child Is Born", written by his brother Thad. Inspired by kuma's earlier reference to this song.

Here's the 2011 remaster of the Floyd's "Meddle" on CD. I just fancied listening to it - and because the neighbours are all away at work, I can play it loud...
I have a big pile of CDs which came free with various music mags. Normally they're not worth bothering with, but there's some decent stuff I'd never hard on this one, which came with the October issue of Uncut.

I've been a fan since her first album, great relaxing music to chill to
+1. I particularly like the unusual Tom's Diner on this album. Takes a bit of artistic courage to record that and schedule it as the opening song on the album.
