+1 Great great album.

Listening to tracks on this in reverse order as I never seem to get to the latter part of the album.

Because I haven't listened to it for a while. Seek out the 192kHz download if you like these two - simply stunning.

Smart I should do that as well, always get stuck at the first piece....

Great music - just put it on my Melco and it's this type of music which you constantly want to listen to again...

Regrettably, it took me until this year to "discover" Alison Krauss. Whether solo or with the added instruments and voices of Union Station she is just great to listen to, possessing a wonderful voice.

I only discovered her thanks to Plant's collaboration, Steve. No regrets for not having listened to her before that. Maybe, just maybe that's how it was meant to be. You were  probably busy listening to something else equally good or better. All in good time, young man!

Jimmy Buffet. A1A. An ABC Canadian pressing from 1974. Nice album and about as far into country music as I care to dabble.

Bad Company. Burnin' Sky. On vinyl from 1976. Long time since I played this.

Janis/Kondrashin/Moscow Philharmonic: Prokofiev Piano Concerto No.3 & Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No.1  1962 Recording

Rhythmic and perky electric fire between the orchestra an piano. Janis never misses the beat with iron fisted control and clarity. One of the most riveting 1st movement altho still not as possessed as Richter.

They start losing a plot somewhere in the  3rd movement not quite lyrical or magical. Janis stays consistent keeping the same angular style but it gets a bit monotonous. Definitely, Prokofiev is a better program of the two as Janis was better with Reiner/CSO a few years earlier.

Toundra, (II), flac download from Bandcamp

Downloaded this several months ago but forgot about it! Just randomly played it on my new (but cheap) car stereo. It's great!

Instrumental rock but with an eastern edge to it. Not too hard core. Just gone and purchased their other two albums :-)
