(2013)

It's a recent acquisition and I'm enjoying it tremendously. New as it might be, it has all those original prog rock vibes and is fronted by a good rock vocalist Mariusz Duda.

+ 1 .  This one is slightly less bonkers ( but also very good)

Playing this old fave for first time through my relatively recently upgraded system - sounds fab.

Seems to be a much under-rated album, IMHO one of his best - stacks up well versus his older classics like Solid Air.  Very atmospheric and great production.

This high res stuff is a great gift for me, the playing of Vladimir was so special, and now in very good sound quality..., only negative very often the same pieces while always sounding a bit different...

Last one tonight.

Dayjay's post prompted me to play this. Seeing Tori at Portsmouth Guildhall singing Me and a Gun was one of the most powerful live music experiences I've had (other than The Smiths, Joy Division, The Clash and Misty in Roots).. Yes I wore a slinky red thing, does it mean I should spread.... For you, your friends... amazing stuff

Brilliant how these guys develop this song, a pity that they don't perform anymore as a trio...

Latest version of Amused to Death arrived today, the AP version on 200gm vinyl. Hard to reconcile that the CD I have had for many years and used to sound fantastic now sounds like an MP3 sampled at about 2 bits/second.

Question for anyone with "Amused to Death" on vinyl  ...........  How does that explosive crash at the end of track 06 "Late Home Tonight, Pt 1" stay in the grove on vinyl ???   With my 24/192 (remastered) download it's scary,  playing the album at normal levels that short sudden crash hits the speakers with such high volume it almost makes me think it might break them.    Hence the question,  how does the cart/stylus hang on to the groove. ???

I have the CD of The Road to Ensenada and you have prompted me to get on and rip it. What was I thinking?
