This is one of his better albums of the last couple of year, less experimental...

Not played this in a while but when I recently watched BBC's programme on Mr Gilmour I made a mental note for myself that I should dig it out. Glad I did.

Came across this digging through some jazz "best of" 2015 lists.  Solo acoustic guitar - quite like it.  Via Tidal.

A real favourite of mine. The original CD transfer sounds excellent too.

I'll join you with some CCR Nigel.

Been playing a lot of this very talented band lately - truly an underrated bunch:

The Art of Conversation.

Bob Seger. Night Moves. On Capitol orange label from 1976, mastered by Wally . My favorite Seger studio album.

Posted on: 23 December 2015 by joerand

Bob Seger. Stranger In Town. On original vinyl from 1978. Another Wally Traugott mastering for very good SQ. The last of Seger's albums I bought. Thought he trended to more a commercial/pop sound after this one.

Bob Dylan. Greatest Hits Volumes I-III.

Spending more time with this four CD set I bought a month ago. As a Dylan-dabbler with only the odd handful of albums I was hoping to gain some insight as to where to go buying more of his stuff, but given his  extensive discography and lack of true chronological ordering to this compilation I see that's a fanciful notion.
