I did trash 22 euros on this 2015 Columbia 88875147701  reissue.

Sounds like they did print it from an mp3. Another masterpiece ruined......

find it difficult to believe this fab album is almost 38 years old already  : o

Debs

....and it seems like only yesterday that I received a call from a mate saying you must come and listen to this amazing new album by some new band called Dire Straits....the rest is history, as they say

First spin - always fun to discover new music of such high quality as on this disc. This sure inspires me to dig into Hyperion's Romantic concerto series a bit deeper!

Cheers,

EJ

This album crops up from time to time in here and I total understand why.  It's a brilliant album with fantastic SQ.

Original Vinyl.

Quickly listened into this to validate my intention to buy an album from Chris Potter, which I will do - good music..

Not an adventure, but at the same time very enjoyable to listen to...

Jimmy Hendrix Experience - Electric Ladyland

Sounded promising, but I was not in the mood for this type of music, so I switched to jazz. Will give it a try again at another point.

This is a real good album. It mixes lyrical at audiophile aspects with a seductive rhythm section. They have made some more albums under the name Marcin Wascileski Trio which are also recomended ....

Not only because it's a lovely album but also this 1993 original Warner Bros. CD and Nightfly on a 1984 Warner Bros. CD are two of the best sounding redbook CDs in my collection.

Riverside's frontman Mariusz Duda continues a solo career alongside his work with Riverside. Lunatic Soul (as he calls this "band") is a recent find for me and very enjoyable in a prog rock / sometimes soft metal style. This is his fourth album.
