Fitting music after a dance with a snow-blower in freezing temperatures in the dark.

Jose Feliciano: 10-23

Above numbers represent Feliciano's age. The album opens with a recording made when he was 10.

I didn' realise how young he was when he had a mega hit 'Light my Fire' at 23. This original pressing sports brail like blind embossing of Feliciano's face on the cover.

Out of this album, I like his Bee Gees cover of 'First of May' the best.  Late 60s RCA vinyl sounds so natural and dynamic.

Dire Straits. Love Over Gold. On original WB vinyl from 1982. Had a hankering to hear a bit of Knopfler.

Schnabel's Mozart Piano Concerto 20 & 24 are the oldest recording in my collection. Recorded at Abbey Road Studio in 1948.

Schnabel plays No.24 in a Beethoven style.

Billy Idol. Greatest Hits. On CD from 2001. Put this on tonight for a friend. Tight sound and full of energy.

Having spent my first 22 years growing up in Lake Erie's snow belt region, the repositioning of heavy, wet snow is one task I don't miss at all. You have my empathy. Hope you're winning the battle.

Yes another great album with top-notch support. A very generous 77mins playing time into the bargain.

With an on song system and the volume turned up this is quite simply a magnificent album, as good today as it was the first time I heard it in my teens and probably the reason why I got into hifi in the first place.  24 wonderful bits streamed  via Hugo
