Haken ~ Aquarius (2010)

A band new to me until recently, having listened to their excellent latest (2013) album The Mountain  earlier today, I am giving their debut album a go on Spotify. Well executed prog rock along the lines of Dream Theater.

It certainly is Rob. My original mono copy has seen better days. I was listening to We Love You  on the wireless this afternoon and felt the urge to listen to the album with Lennon and McCartney doing backing vocals and all...

My Dad was heavily into Jazz and Blues. He bought loads of LPs back from the States in the late '50s and '60s. I guess you can see where I got my musical taste from?

Not played any 'Ash in a while.  My introduction to the band was Pilgrimage but Argus is my favourite.

After a colourful Haydn, the Dorics are back in black and less amused than ever! Great music making, though.
