Spot iffy and Airport express

For all those like myself who are blessed with an early Unity and who don't relish paying for a board upgrade, I am happy to report that the addition of an Airport Express has enabled spotify streaming from the I pad / I phone . I don't find the sound quality bad at all!  Plus at £71,much cheaper than the Naim upgrade .

Glad you have worked it out.  Enjoy it.

Its quite hard to understand what you are getting at here, this has been a solution since airport expresses have existed.

However its not spotify connect, the difference is significant so if other readers think its the same its not!

I thought Spotify from an iPhone via Airport Express to my Superuniti sounded dreadful. At some stage I'll try the 99p for 3 months trial to see how much better it sounds now I've updated my SU, but I doubt I'll bother to keep up the subscription after the trial period.

Appreciate that the airport express has been about for some time..however the lack of ability for early streamers to access Spotify without spending a large sum of money has only raised its head recently...was just trying to be helpful to others!

Steve, glad you are enjoying Spotfiy, but ever since the Spotfiy app has supported Airplay you have been able to do this into any Naim device with a Toslink input.. Certainly for a few years now.
